I have integrated the notifications from the forums, and the vendor stores into the main PPG Zone notification system.

Thanks for your work on this.  I stood up a PPG forum last year and got no traction with it.  I REALLY hope this takes hold, it would be so much better than Facebook.

Thank you so much! I'm sure you're aware of how difficult it is to get people off Facebook. I'm hoping through years of determination and showing up at events, talking to people, and trying to build tools for the community that it will eventually succeed. But man, these first two years have been hell lol.

Ah, I didn't realize you've had this up for 2 years.  I wouldn't have spent money and started my own had I know.  Yeah, it was a challenge to get people to use it.  I don't understand why.  Finding historical stuff on FB is so much more difficult that a forum.  Plus, you have people asking the same questions over and over there (which is solved by a pinned forum post) and it gets old.  Paraglidingforum.com is used a lot by the looks of it.  I guess engine-less fliers are smarter. 🙂

I'll make sure I at least come here often.

NAILED IT! I'm working on the Q/A section sub-forums now. I'm just not quite sure how I want to set up the categories. Should each motor have its own QA section? Or just each Manufacturer? What about paramotor chassis? Should I have a Maverick section, for maverick-specific questions? Or just have a Parajet Q/A section? What do you think?

I struggled with these questions also.  I'd decided at the time to only be as granular as the manufacturer.  People could then start a post with the specific engine/frame/trike details, etc.  Unfortunately I didn't get enough people using it to know if that was the best route to take.

Just saw mention of the site on the latest Aviator video.  There really needs to be more promotion of this website!  Maybe you could bribe some of the most popular Youtube creators to plug it?  I'm sorta over the main Paramotor FB group.  Between unnecessary drama and the same questions asked 27,000 times, it's boring.

Haha thanks, man! I saw an opportunity and took it lol. Unfortunately, PPG Zone does not make any money. There are no ads, and I don't make any affiliate sales, or anything at all. Right now its all out of my own pocket. I need to find some sort of incentive to give those youtube stars for shout outs.
